Harry and Meghan Overlooked a Significant Benefit Before Leaving the Royal Family
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle overlooked their influential position within the Royal Family, according to royal commentator Bonnie Brownlee.
Speaking on True Royalty TV‘s The Royal Beat, Brownlee emphasized that Meghan’s role could have been pivotal, especially concerning the Commonwealth’s young demographic. She believes that the couple was already in a powerful position before their relocation to Los Angeles and could have introduced more transparency and progressiveness to the monarchy.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from royal duties in early 2020 and moved to California, where they are now parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, told the Mirror.
Recently, there have been rumors of the Kardashian family showing interest in having the couple make a guest appearance on their popular Hulu show, The Kardashians. Sources hint at a budding camaraderie between both families.
However, Jennie Bond, former BBC royal correspondent, expressed skepticism about Harry’s interest in joining reality TV. She believes that he might prefer a more private life, enjoying moments with his children.
Commenting on the speculation, Bond told OK!: “With the apparent distancing from the Royal Family, it seems the Sussexes might lean towards a Hollywood lifestyle. Yet, an appearance on The Kardashians might be a step too far. They deserve better.”
