‘We Are Coming To Kill You’: Trump Supporter Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Judge Presiding Over His Case
A woman from Texas has been detained for reportedly threatening Judge Tanya Chutkan’s life contingent on the outcome of the 2024 elections in favor of Donald Trump.
Judge Chutkan is currently overseeing a case against Trump in Washington D.C., in which he faces four charges related to his attempts to contest the legitimacy of the 2020 election results.
Abigail Jo Shry, a 43-year-old resident of Alvin, Texas, is accused of leaving a hostile message at the D.C. federal courthouse on August 5.
She allegedly used racial slurs against Chutkan and made explicit threats against her and her family. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) also became a target of Shry’s threats.
Documents reveal that Shry has a history of making such threats and has been charged four times within the last year for similar behavior.
Her father commented on her inclination to become distressed when consuming alcohol and watching the news. For the safety of the community and potential victims, Shry has been ordered to stay in custody for the upcoming 30 days.
Donald Trump has frequently expressed his dissatisfaction with legal officials involved in his cases. Recently, he criticized Judge Chutkan on Truth Social and has also made derogatory remarks about Special Jack Smith, who is prosecuting another case against him in Florida.
Additionally, Trump faces charges in Georgia and Manhattan related to the 2020 election and his business practices, respectively.
