Fans of Taylor Swift, known as Swifties, are buzzing over what they believe was a playful “easter egg” from the pop superstar, hinting at Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s first touchdown of the NFL season. Kelce scored in the Chiefs’ victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, October 27, and Swift’s fans are convinced that her gestures during her concert the night before played a role.

During her second New Orleans show on Saturday, Swift made a touchdown signal with her arms while performing “Midnight Rain,” prompting fans to wonder if it was a sign. Just a day later, Kelce caught a scoring pass, marking his first touchdown of the season. As the moment unfolded, Swifties recalled Swift’s “touchdown” gesture, with one fan humorously dubbing it “Tayvoodoo.”

“Taylor Swift did this at her show last night and then Travis Kelce scores his first touchdown in 13 games? Tayvoodoo is real confirmed,” a fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another commented on the timing, saying, “Can’t believe it’s his first of the year,” while a third added, “You just knew it was going to happen today.”

Swift also gave Kelce a subtle shout-out earlier in her three-day New Orleans stop, pretending to throw a football during her performance of the same song. This gesture, combined with the “touchdown” sign, fueled fans’ belief that Swift’s energy was somehow linked to Kelce’s success on the field.

The Chiefs’ win over the Raiders also extended their winning streak, keeping momentum high after last weekend’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Although Swift and Kelce have had to spend time apart due to their busy schedules, they have been dropping small signals of support for each other. Last weekend, Kelce wore an all-blue outfit, a nod that fans interpreted as a tribute to Swift’s blue outfits on the Eras Tour.

Swift and Kelce, who began dating last summer, continue to draw interest both on and off the field, with fans eagerly watching for hints and “easter eggs” in both their lives. Whether or not “Tayvoodoo” had anything to do with it, Kelce’s touchdown was a memorable moment for both Chiefs fans and Swifties alike.
