Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Accused of ‘Dangling Woman from 17th-Floor Balcony’ in Lawsuit
Sean “Diddy” Combs faces shocking allegations in a lawsuit filed by Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who accuses the rapper of “sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment,” and other claims. The 17-page lawsuit, reported by People Magazine, details harrowing incidents, including Bongolan’s claim that Combs dangled her from a 17th-floor balcony.
A representative for Combs has strongly denied the allegations, stating, “Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have. Since last year, Ms. Bongolan has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims. Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.”
Bongolan, a fashion designer, is seeking $10 million in damages for the emotional distress she alleges resulted from her encounters with Combs. She recounts a particularly chilling incident from September 2016, when she and her then-girlfriend were staying at Cassie Ventura’s apartment.
According to the lawsuit, Combs entered the apartment early in the morning, grabbed Bongolan, and groped her breasts despite her protests. As she struggled to resist, Combs reportedly moved her to the edge of the balcony, yelling, “Do you know what the f*** you did?”
Standing at just 4 feet 11 inches and weighing about 100 pounds, Bongolan claimed she fought back but was overpowered. Combs allegedly held her over the banister of the 17-story balcony before slamming her onto patio furniture.
Ventura, who was also present, screamed at Combs to stop and informed him that Bongolan’s girlfriend was in the apartment. Combs eventually pulled Bongolan back but did not explain what he believed she had done to provoke the assault.
The lawsuit also alleges that Bongolan witnessed “disturbing signs of an abusive relationship” between Combs and Ventura, including an incident where the music mogul allegedly threw a “large kitchen knife” at Ventura, who retaliated in self-defense.
Currently, Combs is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on unrelated charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has been denied bail three times since his September arrest. As the case unfolds, Combs’s legal team continues to assert that the claims are baseless, while Bongolan seeks justice for the alleged abuses.
