The actor took to Instagram to highlight Alpha Gang, a new film where he and Kravitz will co-star alongside an impressive cast, seemingly marking what could have been another significant milestone in their relationship.
In an Instagram Story, Tatum reposted a Deadline article originally shared by co-star Dave Bautista. The post teased Alpha Gang, a film directed by the Zellner brothers and produced by Cate Blanchett, who will also appear in the movie. “Thrilled to join this project with the Zellner brothers and an out-of-this-world cast,” Bautista wrote in his post. “Get ready for something epic! #AlphaGang.”
The film boasts a star-studded lineup including Blanchett, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, Riley Keough, and Bautista himself, with Tatum and Kravitz rounding out the high-profile cast. Alpha Gang follows a group of alien invaders disguised as a 1950s biker gang whose mission to conquer Earth is complicated when they start to experience human emotions.
The news of the pair’s split, however, adds a bittersweet note to their collaboration on the project. Earlier on Tuesday, People reported that Tatum and Kravitz had officially ended their nearly three-year relationship, according to sources close to the couple. The two actors first sparked dating rumors in early 2021 when Kravitz cast Tatum in her directorial project, Blink Twice. They made their relationship public in September of that year, and news of their engagement followed in October 2023.
Tatum’s Instagram Story might suggest that, despite the breakup, he remains proud of the work he and Kravitz accomplished together.
