Celine Dion Spreads Love Amid Health Struggles; Updates Fans on ‘Love Again’ Film Success
Amid her ongoing health challenges, Celine Dion uplifted spirits by celebrating the success of her film ‘Love Again.’ Through a heartwarming Instagram post, the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer – currently diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome – updated fans on her collaboration with Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan.
On her Instagram stories, Celine proudly shared the movie’s poster, announcing its inclusion in Netflix US’s top 10 most-streamed movies. “Love will always win,” she emphasized, signing off as “Team Celine.”
Despite her upbeat post, Celine’s health battle persists. In a recent conversation with HELLO! Canada, the 74-year-old Claudette expressed concern for her sister. “She’s a fighter. However, this disease, which can cause uncontrollable muscle spasms similar to severe leg cramps, is so poorly understood,” Claudette remarked. She remains optimistic, hoping for a breakthrough in finding a cure or treatment.
Claudette also emphasized the immense love and support fans have for Celine, not just for her unparalleled voice but also for the person she’s evolved into over the years. “It’s the mother, the human being behind that voice we all adore,” she added.
Additionally, Claudette shared insights during a July TV interview with Le Journal de Montreal. She mentioned Celine’s relocation to Las Vegas, living with their sister Linda. “Celine’s dedicated to understanding her condition and consults with top researchers,” Claudette said. “But rest is crucial. Her body and heart are sending signals, and she needs to heed them.”
Throughout this ordeal, Celine finds solace in her family. Her three children, twins Nelson and Eddy (11) and Rene-Charles (22) – whom she shares with the late René Angélil – stand steadfastly by her side.
