Hot Model Sues Playboy Caused Me Serious Labor Pains
A model who worked for Playboy for two days is suing the magazine for $225,000 … all because she says the company didn’t pay her on time. According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, Sarah Stage claims she worked for Playboy on November 23-24, 2009 and the two sides agreed she would be paid $15,000 for her work.
Stage says Playboy agreed to pay her immediately … but she didn’t see a dime for weeks. Instead Sarah claims she had to repeatedly pester Playboy for her money until they finally cut her a check on January 11, 2010. Stage claims that California Labor Law entitles her to 30 days worth of late penalties — which would be her daily rates times 30 — for a whopping $225,000 in late fees.
Stage is looking for the six-figure payout, plus attorney’s fees and costs. – TMZ
