Britney Spears is taking steps to reconnect with her youngest son, Jayden James Federline, after a long period of estrangement. According to OK! magazine, the reunion has inspired the pop star to focus on maintaining calm and rebuilding trust with her son.

“Jayden coming out to L.A. is massive for Britney; it’s something she’s been dreaming of for so long,” a source revealed. They added, “She knows that if she wants more time with him, and hopefully Sean Preston too, she’s got to keep things calm and drama-free.”

The insider explained that Britney is putting her heart into this new chapter with Jayden. “She’s doing her best not to go overboard but really wants to spoil Jayden, take him on trips, and soak up every moment she can,” they said. However, Britney understands that material gestures alone aren’t enough.

“She realizes it’s going to take more than just spoiling him; she knows she needs to show him she’s really changed.” Britney shares Jayden, 17, and Sean Preston, 18, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. Her ultimate dream, according to the source, is to have Sean Preston also return to Los Angeles to rekindle their relationship.

The pop star has previously been open about her heartbreak over the distance from her sons. In a now-deleted Instagram audio clip from September 2022, Britney shared the pain she felt when they were no longer part of her daily life.

“From when they were six to nine years old, I had them 70 percent of the time. Since they’ve been gone, I’ve honestly felt like a huge part of me has died,” she said. “They were my joy. They were my everything. I lived to see them, and then all of a sudden, they were gone. I was like, ‘Did my heart just stop beating?’”

Jayden has also spoken about his relationship with his mother. In a previous interview with the Daily Mail, he acknowledged her reliance on social media but expressed his hopes for her well-being. “Social media helps her… so if that’s what she wants to do, that’s what she wants to do,” he said.

“At the same time, she should come to the realization of whatever it is that stops her from loving her family. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again.” Britney remains committed to rebuilding these precious bonds, with hopes of a brighter, united future for her family.
