Meghan Markle desperate for successful 2024 as Duchess claws for deals
Meghan Markle is reportedly focusing on securing significant brand deals in 2024, following a year that didn’t meet her financial expectations. Royal commentator Tom Bower, speaking to Closer, mentioned that the Duchess of Sussex is keen on making the upcoming year a financially successful one, particularly through lucrative endorsements.
Bower pointed out that Meghan has been putting considerable effort into her endeavors, with a particular eye on high-profile partnerships. Despite her polished public image and hard work, she has yet to secure a major contract, something Bower suggests she finds disappointing.
“She does look amazingly good at the moment – and is clearly working hard at it. I think she’s looking desperately for an endorsement with something like Dior, and that’s been a disappointment because she hasn’t landed one contract,” Bower stated.
Meghan, a long-time admirer of Dior, was rumored to be on the verge of signing a deal with the luxury brand, as per reports from the Telegraph. However, these claims later proved to be unfounded, underscoring the challenges she faces in attracting big-name brands. This follows the lukewarm reception of her podcast project with Spotify, which produced only 13 episodes and did not achieve the anticipated impact. Markle’s focus for 2024 appears to be on turning this tide and securing partnerships that align with her stature and interests.
