Royal Marriage Strains: Meghan and Harry Face Parenting Critiques
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship is reportedly on rocky ground, sparking concerns about their parenting abilities, says royal insider Lady Colin Campbell. “Raising children should be rooted in reality,” stated Campbell, hinting at the ongoing challenges within the couple’s marriage.
Lady Campbell’s comments lend weight to previous speculations about the possibility of a divorce between the Duke and Duchess. In a recent interview, the British socialite disclosed, “Reliable sources informed me that Harry had sought legal counsel. Their public persona doesn’t always mirror private events, but they have monetary reasons to maintain it.”
The couple recently came under scrutiny following an alleged high-speed car chase with paparazzi in Manhattan on May 16. This event raised eyebrows, with many questioning the veracity of their claims.
Regarding the rumored marital discord, Campbell mentioned that verifying such claims is tricky. “Harry’s legal stance, especially about the children’s custody, is not robust. But I’m uncertain if matters have escalated to that level,” she commented.
Supporting Campbell’s insights, royal writer Angela Levin shared that their relationship had deteriorated to the point where Harry is allegedly renting a place in West Hollywood.
However, the tide of rumors seemed to slow as the couple made public appearances together, including a video addressing cyberbullying and celebrating Meghan’s birthday. Yet, Harry’s recent business trip to Asia and Meghan’s independent activities have reignited the rumor mill.
As concerns for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana grow, several royal commentators believe that the young royals should be exposed to their British public service heritage.
While Campbell did not detail how the supposed marital rift might impact the Sussex children, it is speculated that differing lifestyles, with Harry’s aversion to the Hollywood scene and Meghan’s affinity for the spotlight, might be a source of contention.
