Dave Grohl Admits to Having a Child Outside of Marriage, Past Flirting Style Resurfaces

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl recently made a shocking confession, revealing on Instagram that he has fathered a child outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum. On Tuesday, Grohl shared, “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.”
This admission has led to renewed scrutiny of his romantic past, with sources even shedding light on his unique flirting style. Grohl met his wife, Jordyn Blum, in 2001 at a club in West Hollywood, California. In a 2007 interview with Q Magazine, Grohl recounted the moment, saying, “So I’m just having some drinks and acting like a jackass.
And by the end of the night, I was pissed, and I’m staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife.’” Surprisingly, Alix, a 35-year-old woman, recently revealed to Page Six that Grohl used the same pickup line on her in 2013, a decade into his marriage.
According to Alix, she and a friend visited a dive bar in New York City’s East Village in late September 2013 after attending an art exhibition. Grohl, along with a group of people, walked into the bar around 1:30 a.m. Alix approached him and jokingly asked for ID, noting that she recognized him as the musician who “pretty much got me through high school.”
Grohl then offered to buy her a drink, and when she asked for a Jameson on the rocks, he allegedly responded with the same line he had used on Blum years earlier: “You should be my future ex-wife.” Alix, though taken aback by the comment, continued spending time with her friend at the bar, but nothing more came of the encounter.
Grohl and Blum have been married since 2003, celebrating their 21st anniversary this year. The couple shares three children: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10. Reflecting on their early relationship, Grohl shared in a 2007 Elle interview that their connection wasn’t immediate.
“When I first met my wife, we went out on a few dates and I decided that I wasn’t ready for a serious relationship, so I just stopped calling,” Grohl admitted. However, three months later, he had a change of heart, saying, “I had a revelation and called her back. She picked up the phone and said, ‘Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again.’” Despite the ups and downs of their relationship, Grohl’s recent revelation adds a new chapter to his personal life.
