Miley Cyrus calls her marriage to Liam Hemsworth a “disaster” While Helping A Couple Get Engaged At Her Concert! “Mine was a f**king disaster”
The then-couple later got engaged in 2012, only to break up the following year
Miley Cyrus, who previously married actor Liam Hemsworth, brought up the topic briefly during her performance at the Lollapalooza festival in Brazil, where she helped a couple in getting engaged.
According to the Daily Mail, the ‘Malibu’ singer invited a gay couple to propose on stage, as reported by aceshowbiz.com.
“Honey, I hope your marriage goes better than mine,” the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus congratulated the pair, before adding, “Mine was a f**king disaster.”
Cyrus and the star of ‘The Hunger Games were first linked in 2008 when they both starred in the film ‘The Last Song.’
In 2012, the couple became engaged, only to break up the following year. They did, however, rekindle their romance in 2015 and married in December of that year.
Unfortunately, their marriage only lasted a year after she was found kissing Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” a representative for Cyrus revealed to PEOPLE at the time.
Miley’s every romance with Kaitlynn was short-lived. For 10 months, she was romantically linked to Australian singer Cody Simpson. Cody described their brief romance as “just one of those phases… everything ended fairly amicably.”
He added, “I’d known her for a long time at that point. We went from kind of being good friends to just having a lot of the same friends, to being together for a while.”
Meanwhile, Liam was dating Maddison Brown from the ‘Dynasty,’ before moving on to model Gabriella Brooks. Gabriella joined Liam and his entire family for a European ski trip last Christmas, suggesting that the couple had taken their relationship to the next level.
