Football club manager sacked after video of vile racist rant goes viral
A disgusting racist rant posted by a football team’s manager – in which he says “f**c the p***s and the blacks” – has led to his immediate firing from the amateur FC.
Jake Henderson posted the long Twitter clip of himself watching the televised press conference, led by Home Secretary Priti Patel, as he went on a long-winded racist tirade.
Not only did Mr Henderson say in the clip that “As a white man I won’t be listening to people of colour because they’re no good in positions of power”, but he also referred to Patel – who is of Ugandan-Indian heritage – as a p**i, multiple times.
The Worksop local then went on to say “a black man’s place is under a white man”, at which point you can see woman sat next to him giggling, before she exclaims “Jake!”
The amateur football club, based in Retford, near Nottingham, immediately sacked their manager after the footage went viral.
Worksop Sunday League club ‘Polo Pukz FC’ , issued a statement via twitter on Saturday night, saying Henderson would no longer be managing the side.
“Polo Pukz FC can announce Jake Henderson has been relieved of his managerial duties,” the statement read.
“We would like to assure everyone that his views in NO way represent our club and would like to thank everyone who brought this to our attention.”
Mr Henderson’s video, which was shared online thousands of times, has received widespread condemnation on social media.
Writing on Facebook, one user responded to the post by saying: “this vile message is being delivered with coherent sentence structure.
“He knows full well what he is saying.”
Another added: “This is utterly shocking and disgusting. It is very dangerous for this stupid, nasty piece of junk to have a ‘smart’ phone.”
MP for Bassetlaw, Brendan Clarke-Smith, has condemned Henderson’s video on his own social media channels.
He said: “I am appalled and absolutely disgusted at this vile racist video which has been posted online.
“This is in no way representative of the town or the people of Retford and we condemn this behaviour in the strongest possible terms.”
Since the clip went viral, thousands of angry Twitter users have flocked to the social platform to highlight that this doesn’t seem to be the first time Henderson has made racist comments.
A number of screenshots which show outwardly racist, homophobic and antisemitic messages written by a Twitter account with the handle @chunko_ (an account used by Henderson) shows images of a man that looks like him posing at an EDL rally.
Other sickening tweets posted by the same account read: “Heard the showers at auschwitz are to die for”, “just to let everyone know I don’t support gay marriage” “#hitlerismyhero” and “I f****ng hate Asians”.
Daily Star has contacted Nottinghamshire Police for comment.
Daily Star has also attempted to contact Jake Henderson, but were unsuccessful as he’s since deleted all social media accounts.
His final Instagram post read: “I’m sorry. Please leave me alone. Please stop the hate.”
